Avalue’s LPC-1203 Touch Panel PC Supports Full IP65 Compliance Taipei, Taiwan. April, 2010 – Avalue is releasing a new LPC-1203 Touch Panel PC, aimed for marine and extreme environment applications, the LPC-1203 achieves a full IP-65 compliance, that means it can withstand overall splashing conditions, and integrated with a variety of innovative technologies, which take the Avalue’s Panel PCs up another notch. This year the product is also honored by the Taiwan Excellence Award 2010. Intel® Atom™ With low power consumption technology, the LPC-1203 is powered by Intel® Atom™ N270 processor which reduces the power using, saves operation costs. The decrease of thermal energy makes the computer a high safety and green product under a fanless condition. At same time, the fanless LPC-1203 has an embedded and unique heat dissipation trench design, enabling system-generated heat to dissipate quickly. Other than quickening heat dissipation, the aluminum chassis also protects the computer when it is used in more humid environments, such as factories or testing labs, ensuring the computer operates reliably and stably. Full Water and Dust-Proof The entire computer is water-proof, including front panel, rear data transmission connectors, and power sources etc. The IP-65 safety-certified, thus LPC-1203 is very suitable for use in highly rigorous environments such as the naval force. In particular, the setting of the front side power button which is covered by water-proof membrane for easy use. Furthermore, the computer combines rear side heat-dissipation aluminum case and unique I/O connectors to reach a higher level of water/dust-proof than other Panel PCs, and enhances the convenience and safety for extreme environment applications.
