“Groove. Glory. God.” The Company of Ateneo Dancers dedicate their time to perfect the art of movement, always aiming for the top and facing to the heavens — towards the Creator. The logo illustrates a person leaping up and and a hand pointing upwards: a pose that is well-loved by CADs. The logo also resembles a tongue of fire, which alludes to the Holy Spirt in the form of tongues of fire, empowering Jesus’ disciples to speak in different languages and proclaim the Good News (Acts 2:3-4). In CADs’ case, it is the language of movement they are endowed with to proclaim the greatness of God’s Love. Another way of interpreting this is that fire symbolizes their passion for dancing. Whenever they perform, they set the stage on fire.
The Ateneo Lingua Ars Cultura organization aims to bridge, experience and celebrate the various cultures of the Philippines and the whole world. They invite Ateneans to open their windows to their own country and to the whole world through foreign language tutorials, local and foreign art exhibits and interaction with different nationals.
The Ateneo College Ministry Group show their dedication to God through their ministry in the Holy Eucharist. Their logo resembles the Gesu, which is triangular in shape, because their activities involve mostly the masses held there. Their committees include the choir and the lectors. Aside from the training for singing and public speaking, they also hold faith-formation workshops to bring the members closer to God. Their official colors are white and blue, as a sign of their devotion to the Virgin Mary.
