THIS IS MY VEIW ONLY....BUT THANKS FOR THE SLAP IN THE FACE LLC!!! Wednesday, I heard rumors that Mark and I were going to be named to the APBA Hall of Champions....but nothing official from LLC....some of us, if named had something planned for the award. But...I did not hear from LLC...but did get a call from Fred from APBA Detroit...during the new 5 year deal with APBA and LLC...LLC would have to pay $4000.00 for the Hall of Champions....APBA has been in contact with LLC about the money....and thanks to Fred saving his e-mails so he has proof....LLC said they did not have the money....so there would be no Hall of Champions for Offshore....But someone, not a owner of LLC...a member of the LLC Staff got involved to see what could be done for the racers...the dead line for the money has already passed..but this Staff member talk to Fred to see what could be done...and I thank him for looking out for the racers...and the out come was if the racers would pay for the award that LLC had to pay we would still get the award....but the money had to be payed by yesterday...which is when Fred called on a conferance call with Mark and I.....I know nothing on how APBA Detroit is run...but I do know Fred answer every question we had and we talked for about 40 minutes...I like someone who saves e-mails so they can prove that they did what they said...even know the 2nd deadline has passed he is still going to work with us to get them the money by Sat. or Monday....so to Fred I say thank you for your time and a good coversation.....as far as LLC...alot of this problem happend under Mike A. watch who was fully aware of what was going on....Fred did say when he contacted Gordon K. he was not aware of all of this...but there was no money to pay for it.....My problem is why were the racers not informed of the problem and given the option to pay it....vice just take it away from us.....Mark and I have busted our ass for 3 years of racing and Mark has had 2 knee operations and I have had 2 back surgeries in 2 years for this sport to get where we are today....and to have LLC to decided that we would not recieve the award is a joke.... We came to Orange Beach to race in good faith of Mark N. letter of the changes....and I know alot of this has to do with another one of Mike A. cluster f#cks and thats who I hold responsable...So Mike A. just because you have issues with APBA your a joke for getting in the way of the racers getting a award from APBA Detroit... A few, and only a few people have told me some of the things I write. I have set back racing 5 years....If telling the truth sets this sport back 5 years what kinda sport is this....so I don't believe those comments..but sum people have their noise so far up someones ass you can only see there sneakers....and you can live your life that way...but I will stand up for whats right and wrong.. This post is not for people to take sides....if Mike A. would have put his ego aside and told us I could have went out and found a sponsor to have payed the $4000.00 in return for a tiney spot on the LLC website but NO!! So Mike A. its not all about you!!! Its also about the racers that race for LLC....so you trying to let this award go away like its no big deal and your problems are more important is a slap in the face...not only on me but on this sport...and by me writing this I'm showing you the same respected you have shown to me...NONE!!! As far as APBA Detriot....who took the time to call us...and who is going to honnor us for a award that they don't even have me as a APBA member but I payed LLC....Thank you for this award and braking the deadline twice for us. So to sponors and potental sponsors of this sport and fans....if you are upset at this post...only be mad at me and no other racer....but maybe now this will never happen again. Gino M.
