Vive la France - French AI Tech on show at AI Expo Africa 2019

The Embassy of France in South Africa and Business France will bring a French AI delegation to South Africa to showcase French AI tech at AI Expo Africa 2019

In France, AI is one of the national key priorities, as President Emmanuel Macron highlighted in his keynote address during the “AI for Humanity” conference, held at the College de France in March 2018. By 2023, France will invest more than 1.5 billion euros in the field of AI. Four interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Institutes have been created in 2019, having for objective to raise French competitiveness by strengthening the scientific and industrial ecosystem.
