Amphipolis

At the Amphipolis Hotel, one discovers an enclosed garden with an indoor chessboard. Αxonometric explanation Due to the poor condition in which it is kept, in order to highlight it, we remove its interior and keeping its original layout, we create a perimeter elevated observation deck. Also along the axis of the building we keep part of the internal wall with the washbasins that used to be inside each room.

The pool secong wing of the complex Thraki space configuration diagram Ιn the second wing we place an elongated swimming pool. The pool as a use, complements both the physiotherapy and the baths. In the space we also add a seating area in amphitheatre arrangement and a diving board. As for the masonry, we open all the openings, and we change the floor material in places where there was originally a door in reference to the original typology of the building.
