These industries account for 2 billion euros of sales volume and export 1.1 billion euros, with the furniture, wood panels, products for construction (doors and floors) and woods of pine and eucalyptus, in roundwood and sawn, mainly responsible for these values. As part of the Transformation Forest Row, which is responsible in Portugal for about 4% of national GDP, 11% of industrial GDP, 9% of industrial employment and 10% of national exports, the Wood and Furniture Industries is the most important socioeconomics of the Portuguese.
