About the role

O F Packaging are seeking a talented and driven Sales Account Manager to join their sales team and work closely with existing clients, as well as develop new client relationships in the flexible packaging space. You will be working across broad industry segments, predominately within the food, snack food and pet food industries.

What you would be doing

Based out of their head office in Oakleigh South, you will be charged with the responsibility of servicing the current client portfolio in the domestic market.

You will add significant value through:

• Identify leads and opportunities to win new business.

• Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of key clients.

• Build a strong sales pipeline and proactively research potential clients.

• Prepare and present quotes.

• Ensuring absolute customer satisfaction.

You will be required to:

• Take ownership of your client base, to achieve your targeted annual sales result.

• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategy to achieve KPI’s.

• High level of business development focus.

• Establish and maintain healthy business relationships.

Who we’re looking for

You are not one to sit around and wait for things to happen, you move with purpose, direction, and passion. Importantly you really do know how to find and convert new business, creating that need in the market; needless to say, your sales pipeline always looks strong and is accurate.

Being previously exposed to long sales cycles, you have no doubt perfected the right amount of follow up required or project management that really does provide that insight for new customers of what the level of service they are likely to expect from choosing you. You are resourceful, confident, take your job seriously but not yourself.

In order to be successful, there are a couple of things that we ask of you:

• Demonstrated success in Sales/New Business Development.

• Strong influencing skills.

• Clear and engaging verbal and written communication.

• Strong follow up skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Previous experience within packaging or printing is highly desirable.
