SHORAI PREMIUM has a lot to offer that the end consumer could only expect in the expensive premier class. Let‘s just imagine that Lady SUZUMI and Sir DAISEIKAI had married and passed on their best qualities – The Junior is called SHORAI PREMIUM and offers a plasma filter, a weekly timer, whisper function for indoor and outdoor units, 8 °C defrost function and many comfort features. The whole thing with A++ energy efficiency and only about 10% more expensive than the middle class set!

Proven core values

SHORAI PREMIUM contains all the core virtues of the SUZUMI system, including the range of services and connectivity: six sizes from 2.5 kW to 7.0 kW cooling capacity are available. With the exception of size 18, all indoor units can also be combined with multi outdoor units. All single sets from 5 kW cooling capacity use the silent and robust twin rotary compressor, TOSHIBA‘s in-house inverter control delivers exactly the right power for the load requirement - so that no watt of electrical energy is used up too much. The indoor units benefit from the 3D Airflow, which moves with independent horizontal and vertical movement of the louvers hot or cold air exactly where it is desired. The heat exchanger of the indoor unit is always kept clean and dry by a special coating in conjunction with the self-cleaning function after the end of the operation - no chance for the development of odors and bacteria.

Optimum air quality

Clean indoor air is far more than luxury - recent studies assume that around 30% of all people suffer from allergies - the largest part of which is once again caused by respiratory diseases. The advantages of electric air filter technologies are undisputed and have been proven by many universities - even if reputable manufacturers such as TOSHIBA promise no miracles here about eliminating viruses and bacteria: the PURE filter technology used in the SHORAI PREMIUM contributes decisively to keep our indoor air healthy and free from harmful substances.

WiFi Ready

SHORAI PREMIUM is - as well as the complete current single split home generation from TOSHIBA - WiFi-ready. This means, a low-cost adapter allows convenient control of all functions & features of the indoor unit from your smartphone or tablet. Whether in heating or cooling mode: the TOSHIBA air conditioning system always follows the requirements of our “mobile” life at all times, combining lifestyle with energy savings.

Comfort Infrared remote control included

As comfortable as the APP control is - sitting on the couch at home, connected with the mobile via social media with all the favorite people, there is only one perfect control for our climate comfort: a well-designed, appealing remote control, on which each function can be achieved intuitively and with the push of a button. SHORAI PREMIUM is delivered by default with such a remote control. In addition to the operating mode, temperature setting, air distribution or weekly timer, all TOSHIBA exclusive features are also available here: plasma filter, 8 °C frost protection, Fireplace mode, Eco mode, Comfort Sleep, Preset, Quiet function, Demand defrost and much more.

Is the air conditioning running? No idea, I cannot hear anything!

For indoor and outdoor units in standard cooling or heating mode: SHORAI PREMIUM is quiet! But it can be even more quiet: with the QUIET function for the indoor unit and the SILENCE function for the outdoor unit, the user decides at the touch of a button, where his priorities are: with optimum heating and cooling capacity, or minimal noise. The fans are thus set in ultra-low-speed whisper mode - especially in the outdoor unit, which brings a significant reduction of the sound pressure level by 3 to 4 dB (A). This corresponds to a perceived reduction of about 50% by the human ear!
