Airam SmartHome makes living more enjoyable. All SmartHome products can be easily connected via WiFi to the app, which allows you to control the products effortlessly. The application is free and available in Finnish, Swedish or English, depending on your phone’s settings.

Adding products to the app is really easy.

The application finds most SmartHome products in the search menu automatically. Some products, such as cameras, need to be added manually, but the application gives the user clear operating instructions,

The easy-to-use SmartHome application e.g. enables easy control of versatile lighting. You can adjust the color temperature of the light, dim the lighting and create lighting themes for different moods and situations, which you can then use with a couple of clicks, if necessary. The application also offers pre-created light settings.

Why is this important? Light and lighting are of great importance in terms of human well-being and everyday life. Bright and strong light keeps the mind refreshed and helps to see well. Warm and softer lighting calms and relaxes. Each of us has a daily need to experience both extremes of light, according to our own needs and rhythm, and therefore easily adjustable SmartHome lighting raises coziness to a new level.

Airam SmartHome creates new standards for the smoothness of everyday life.

The first Airam SmartHome products were launched in 2021. Since then, the number of new activated devices has has grown at an accelerating pace - and no wonder! You can put the SmartHome lamp in your old, existing lamp, and you can connect almost any existing electrical device to the SmartHome plug.

You can also create different rules for SmartHome devices or between them: activation of the motion detector can turn on the lights, the door sensor activation calls out a siren or the lights can be timed to turn on and off as desired, making the home seem inhabited during a trip. Only your imagination is the limit!

Use SmartHome products without worry in your home’s secured WiFi network. Data transmission is encrypted and the products support WPA and WPA2 protocols.

Smart Smoke alarm

The wireless Airam SmartHome smoke alarm functions like the normal optical smoke alarm, even without the SmartHome app. When detecting smoke, the smoke alarm alerts you loudly. If the device is connected to the Airam SmartHome app, you will also receive a notification on your phone. If your cooking sets off the smoke alarm, you can silence it by pressing the button on your unit. You cannot silence the smoke alarm using the app. You should install the smoke alarm as close to the middle of the ceiling as possible in every part of the home, including bedrooms, escape routes and staircases. Multiple SmartHome smoke alarms cannot be linked together.

You can use the Airam SmartHome water leak sensor with or without the Airam SmartHome app. The bottom of the sensor contains two probes that activate a loud alarm when detecting water. If the sensor is connected to the Airam SmartHome app, also the app will alert you. The sensor will not prevent the water leak, but it allows you to react promptly and alert help to your home, even when you are not there yourself. You can connect the water leak sensor to the Smart siren and set up a rule between the two devices where, in the event of water leak, both the siren and the sensor will alert you.
