Lunghe giornate in solitaria, davanti al computer, magari connessi a qualche riunione a distanza, su Zoom o su Teams, non devono però portarci su una brutta china: la sciatteria. Se è necessario lavorare da casa, almeno lo si faccia con stile. Trucco impeccabile e tailleur dunque? Non è detto, anche il pigiama può essere una scelta chic, certamente dipende dal pigiama. Ricordate i tutoni alla Bridget Jones? Quelli, per esempio, non sono una scelta azzeccata. Già prima dell’arrivo della pandemia stilisti e trend setter avevano sdoganato il look notte come perfetto anche per il giorno, non solo per stare a casa. Chi non ricorda Sarah Jessica Parker nei panni di Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex and the City’ quando, con inviabile nonchalance, percorreva le vie di Manhattan in pigiama e pelliccia? Più di recente hanno optato per il look ‘pigiama style’, influencer nostrane come Elena Santarelli o Costanza Caracciolo mentre, sempre per le vie di New York, si è vista la top model Gigi Hadid.

Il pigiama è dunque una tendenza, ma bisogna saperlo scegliere e magari anche abbinare. Vestaglie svolazzanti e sofisticati kimono sapranno di certo aggiungere un tocco in più. Il tessuto principe è, ovviamente la seta, ma anche raso, lino o cotone sono eleganti e casual allo stesso tempo per un effetto sulla pelle morbido e leggerissimo. Le tendenze indicano che si sta imponendo il taglio maschile, con pantalone dritto e coulisse in vita. Per un tocco serale basterà aggiungere una cintura alla casacca o impreziosire il look con un accessorio come per esempio una spilla particolare. C’è chi sulla moda notte, indossata anche di giorno, ha costruito un marchio, in tempi non sospetti: è Francesca Ruffini Stoppani, creativa di Como, che ha fondato F.R.S. For Restless Sleeper. Quella per la prossima stagione è ispirata al viaggio e al desiderio di libertà, le stampe colorate rivelano la fascinazione verso mondi immaginari mentre la palette cromatica va dal cipria al rosa pallido al verde acqua stemperandosi poi in mille sfumature di blu. L’italiana Verdissima punta su un intramontabile: il cotone rasato a righe bianche su fondo celeste, capo dall’allure maschile ma con vestibilità femminile. Stesso mood anche per Tekla, marchio danese che, da sempre, punta sulla riga verticale e che si distingue per la scelta di cotone organico acquistato esclusivamente da produttori certificati eco. Righe protagoniste anche per Twinset, ma con effetto optical che punta sul bianco e nero. Colori vivaci che fanno subito allegria per i pigiami in seta di Olivia Von Halle. Si respirano speranza e ottimismo fra le linee morbide dei disegni, fatti a mano, della collezione primavera estate 2021. Particolarmente versatili, perché è possibile spezzarli abbinando un paio di jeans, per esempio, alla blusa sono i pigiami Sleeper, marchio fondato una manciata di anni fa da due ex giornaliste di moda, Kate Zubarieva e Asya Varetsa. Il lino è il tessuto preferito per realizzare pigiami unisex sensuali e comodi. Pigiami e solo pigiami dunque? Immaginate di indossare la camicia da notte cipria, plissettata e ornata di pizzi, proposta da Twinset, con un sandalo con listini, tacco dieci: non siete subito pronte per un aperitivo? Anche con i bar chiusi, un Prosecco in casa non deve mai mancare. Ça va sans dire.

Over at Sleeper, a brand founded a few years ago by two former fashion journalists, Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa, versatility is the name of the game, where you can comfortably wear your pyjama jacket as a shirt tucked into a pair of jeans. Their favourite fabric for comfortable, sensual, unisex pyjamas is linen. But pyjamas are always going to be just pyjamas, right? Well… imagine you’re wearing that pleated, lace-edged, powder-pink nightie from the Twinset collection, with strappy 4-inch heel sandals – wouldn’t you be perfectly dressed for predinner drinks? And even if the bars and pubs are all still shut, a glass or two of Prosecco chez vous can never come amiss. Ça va sans dire.
