In Manhattan’s meatpacking district, the space is located in areas with changing landuse patterns.
Sanatoria 2.0 is a program that focuses on community intervention, extending the services provided by The BLOCK.
Sanatoria’s new addition focuses on bringing the community together for different activities at every hour of the day with a Promenade.
In addition, the existing 9-story office building on the site will be redesigned to incorporate a transition sphere on the ground floor while maintaining the structure and core, adding to the current accommodation schedule.

Size: 4000 Sqm

NATE honours the Ngaduri tribe by celebrating their culture and arts. The tribe NGADJURI means “WE MEN” and has a strong sense of community. They practice telling stories of the past under the night sky to teach their young ones about society and culture.
Paint, petroglyphs, and nature worship were methods they used to communicate their ideas and culture.
NATE reflects their journey, experienced through interaction with nature, materials and light. This proposal included a reception area, visitors’ collection area, administration area, classroom, audio room, library, cafe, open-air theatre, and a deck. It also includes a place to grow native fruits and vegetables.
While sustainability and self-sufficiency are essential aspects of the project, contoured terrain posed the most significant challenge.

“BUILDING, AS A GATEWAY”
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is located in the central part of India, 620 km southeast of Delhi, in Madhya Pradesh, India. They are famous throughout the world for their Nagara-style architecture and erotic sculptures.
This was a proposal for an INTERPRETATION CENTER, equipped with a CULTURAL HUB, which can serve as a viable medium for effective communication of heritage information, a platform for various entertainment sources, and the showcase of heritage diversity of Madhya Pradesh and an interactive space. Khajuraho also needed a better infrastructure to better serve the needs of tourists and locals to help develop a better tourism industry and generate an economy for the region.

THE GOOD SUIT CO.
Location : Chandigarh, India
Site Size: 70 Sqm
Type: Commercial Interior
Year: 2017, Work Experience
A store for The Good Suit Company has been designed by RMDK in an interior language mix of extravagance and modernity.
We studied the brands’ inspiration source from Italy while aiming to infuse the premises with a solid dose of modernity to signal the advanced creative trajectory of the fashion house. As a result, the store’s décor is a mix of neoclassical opulence and sleek mid-century designs rendered in a modern style.
The critical element of the store is its delicately painted vaulted ceiling, panelled walls, a rich parquet floor and classical cabinets rendered in a royal shade of blue.
