We started out as a single coffee shop and have lived the highs and lows, continually learning along the way. Tackling those challenges as a team and revelling in the success as a family. Owning your own business is brave and with the right support we can help make it a dream to run. We want to create a support network for our Odd Kin wholesale family - to bounce ideas off one another and enjoy the journey together.

A chat to go through any questions you may have around getting your business off the ground or if you’re already doing your thing, how we can get this partnership moving somewhere. Here you can ask me anything, be it branding, building an epic team, what suppliers to work with, how to raise your profile or just discuss next steps to start serving up some gamechanging Odd Kin coffee! When I started my own coffee shop back in 2016, I had a million questions on so many topics. The conversations I had with people already running coffee shops were invaluable, saving me both time, money and stress. I hope to help you, as others helped me.

unch with Joey Numbers, our king of Ops - the guy who keeps our wheels turning and feet on the ground. Joe is a legend of the coffee world, working in Australia before moving home to manage some of the biggest coffee brands in the country. Joe has a solid foundation when it comes to the operational side of running multiple site coffee shops.

It’s safe to say we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for Joe. Spending some time to pick his brains over the nitty gritty of running a hospitality business will be something you’ll be seriously thankful for - I promise!


epic co We are here to source, roast and deliver exceptional coffees. Ultimately that is what we will rest our hat on. e only buy coffees where the farmers have been fairly compensated for their craft. To get a coffee bean from plant to cup is a long process, with many hands involved and we want to be sure that everyone has been treated right, from the farmer to the coffee drinker.

In light of this, we only work with green importers who source responsibly. We are also working to build as many direct trade relationships with farmers from around the world. Buying coffees from them year after year and building a strong and most importantly stable relationship.

We are also working hard to reduce our impact on our precious planet. All of our retail packaging is fully recyclable in local recycling facilities. We deliver our coffee in bulk tubs to our local wholesale partners. We collect these back each time you get a fresh drop of coffee, meaning we both massively reduce our waste.

Weekly Deliveries We roast every week and will drop your coffee off rested and ready to go straight in the hopper.

Small Batch & Quality Control Rest easy that you will never receive a dud bag of coffee from us. We roast in 10kg batches on our trusty Probat to ensure we have maximum control over each roast profile. We then cup every single batch that we roast to ensure consistency of flavour and to continually look to improve the coffee we are sending out.

More than just super tasty beans


Colombia aguas claras Aguas Claras farm is located in one of Colombia’s prime growing regions, Huila and this coffee certainly lives up to the reputation that precede coffees grown here. It feels super mellow on the palate, with notes of red apple finishing up with butterscotch and Brazil nuts. This easy drinker is everything we wanted from our first Colombian coffee, so much so that after we tasted it on the cupping table we got a little bit excited and ordered every single bean on offer from our import partners Right Side Coffee. Jaiber Joven inherited his farm from his father and lives there with his wife and daughters. He has worked tirelessly to improve the consistency and quality of their coffee, but he hasn’t stopped there. Jaiber is constantly working on exciting new processing techniques to help elevate his coffees to the next level and the results are a joy to drink. The ripe coffee cherries are picked by hand and then washed to remove the cherry skins, before going through a prolonged fermentation. Jaiber then dries the coffee slowly, over approximately 28 days, through a drying process called ‘paseras’, where he leaves some open spaces amongst the coffee to allow for the air to flow.


Club House Espresso Blend Club House is the coffee that will be there by your side every single day of the year; a smooth and tasty brew that will keep your regulars happy and new customers coming back for more. It is delicious served black or with milk, kind of like the Swiss army knife of coffees - great in any situation. We have created this blend to not only deliver big on flavour in each drink, but it is also super easy for your baristas to work with, making it a reliable and consistent choice for your house espresso. We source our coffees seasonally and only ever buy speciality coffees graded above 83 points, so you can rest assured that these beans will be bursting with freshness and full of flavour. The base coffee will always be a nice, bold Brazilian which brings the chocolatey goodness we all crave in a house coffee, whilst the sweetness and complexity will be from a Central or Southern American coffee. Adding this element into the blend instantly elevates it above most house espressos, making it something that your customers will remember as a proper good cup of coffee.

host of other bits to make your life both tastier and easier. It’s so hard to decide which suppliers to go for as there are so many strong options out there. It’s also a logistical nightmare trying to order from multiple companies, with different cut off times, delivery days and don’t get me started on sorting through the pile of invoices at the end of the month! So, what we wanted to do was bring together all of our favourite suppliers, so that you can order everything that your bar requires directly from Odd Kin. These are companies who share the same values as us and taste amazingly good too - trust us we have blind tasted them all against the competition and they always come out on top!

aware of this, having sorted out our own fair share of last minute fixes to make sure we can get the coffee shop doors open. We work with a group of very talented engineers, we will arrange your bar install and annual services and we are always on hand for troubleshooting or to arrange engineer call outs if disaster strikes. We know that the most important thing is that you get open and serving coffees. That’s why we’ve got spare coffee machines and grinders at the roastery to bring over to you in an emergency!

Over the years we have fitted out coffee shops, bars, mobile carts, a converted horsebox and are currently in the process of helping design several of the Odd Kin family shops with them. Each time the needs of the individual build were different, so we’ve experience in choosing the equipment best suited for the job in hand. You only get one chance to nail a bar fit out - looks are important, but as you get busy workflow and efficiency are everything. We will be available to go through your bar design plans and provide advice where needed to make sure that your bar is optimised for slinging out shots left, right and centre.

COFFEE TRAINING here is one thing we love more than good coffee and that is sharing our passion and craft with others. Spending time with our superstar coffee heads will ensure that your whole team are feeling like heroes on the bar no matter how many tickets are racking up.

Creating a coffee culture amongst your team is super important to ensure that they take pride in the cups of

coffee they are serving, our training sessions will help build confidence, knowledge and skills, so that the level of coffee you are serving goes through the roof. Training sessions can take place on site or at one of our Birmingham or Worcester stores or down at the Odd Kin Roastery in Bristol.


The best thing about coffee is that it’s impossible to ever know everything about it and that means we can all continue to learn and enjoy the process of expanding our , knowledge. That s why we will continue to provide you with training even after your doors have opened.

We run quarterly barista workshops where we get your team together in the evening and go through theory, workflow efficiency and skills based stations. They are a super fun way to engage your team outside of the coffee shop and improve both the skills and knowledge base of your team. These workshops will be available at the Odd Kin Roastery for you and your team every quarter as a thank you for being a part of our wholesale family. Coffee geekery, latte art throwdowns, pizza and a few beers. Nice.

As Tea Mixologists coffee isn’t really something we’d ever thought much about... that was until we recently moved into our shiny new warehouse and wanted to add coffee to our customer offering! It was so important for us to make sure we did this well & maintained the same high standard we do in making our tea lattes & iced teas. We also wanted to partner with a small independant biz who shares our ethics & ethos and was as enthusiastic about coffee as we are about tea! Unsurprisingly we didn’t know a whole lot about coffee so really needed quite a lot of support & training.

Odd Kin have been absolutely fantastic, they are friendly, warm, very knowledgeable & their customer service is just brilliant! They helped us choose the right blend for us, hand delivered our coffee (from Bristol to Worthing!!), set up our machine & grinder. Plus, they did the most wonderful training session with our team which was fun, engaging & informative! We are excited to be working with Odd Kin & they are our go to people for all things coffee.
