The White House Community During Christmas Written by Mackenzie This year in the White House, it was all about CHRISTMAS CHEER!!Integer There were metus. many people helping to decorate the White House. The first room I liked was the “China Room” because that was where they were making the big gingerbread house. All of the rooms were decorated. The room that I thought was beautiful was the red room. It had four trees in each cornerbyline and had flowers that you could [Name] eat. Another favorite was the blue room because there was a big Christmas tree. It was decorated from top to bottom. I do not know how they did it because that was a very tall tree. The hallway of the the White House had two trees from side to side and had lots of Christmas Cheer from side to side too. The green room had one main tree and people decorated it so much that it looked more like a royal tree than a normal Christmas tree. I bet it took the entire White House COMMUNITY to make this happen. They all worked together to make the White House beautiful in December.

Swimming in January Written by Eric There are many places in the community to swim. You can swim at your local YMCA, a family gym, some parks have pools, and you may even have a pool. Swimming is a good thing to do. It helps you get stronger. It feels really good when it is hot outside. It is a good sport to make your legs stronger. It will make your swimming better. You will get used to the cold air if you swim in January. It could be fun in the rain because the rain is falling on you in the water. On a cold day it would be fun to go into the jacuzzi and glide in it. If you don’t know what gliding is, it just means that you throw yourself off the jacuzzi or pool wall. Swimming is fun, even in January.

There once was an orchestra that was rushing to get to their concert for the community. They could not find their conductor so they called him many times, but he never picked up. They had to play at their concert without him. “Three minutes left,” said one of the musicians. “Welcome and enjoy the music,” they all heard. Suddenly the curtains opened. “Introducing the conductor,” the narrator said. No one came out. The narrator repeated what he said. Again, no one came out. So the musicians decided to play the songs by themselves. It sounded awful. The concert ended and everyone got a refund. The owner of the concert hall banned the orchestra from playing there again. The orchestra left. Then the next day the conductor went to the concert hall but no one was there so he called one of the orchestra members. The musician told the conductor that the concert was yesterday, and explained what happened. The conductor admitted that he fell asleep. The conductor got fired. Then he felt bad and understood why he got fired and never made that mistake again.
