The Tau Beta Omega – Marina del Rey Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. invites you to join us as a sponsor, premier silent auction donor, or both at our Giving from the Sole Sneaker Gala & Scholarship Fundraiser, to be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Marina del Rey Marriott Tau Beta Omega (TBO) Chapter will hold this event in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha's Educational Advancement Foundation , a non-profit 501c3 organization created to fill a void in education funding. Our chapter has awarded over $72,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate/professional students nationwide.

TBO's selection process endorses students who have demonstrated a solid commitment to community service, leadership, and academics. Scholarships we confer are an investment in students who are independently inclined to impart into others. Our supporters know their contributions are a single seed that could metastasize into a harvest for many
