Laura Kubzansky, a professor of social and behavioral sciences at Harvard School of Public Health, reviewed 200 studies and has linked positivity to a lowered risk of cardiovascular disease, lower blood pressure and normal body weight. Subjects who have an optimistic spirit have the tendency to engage in healthy habits, such as exercising, eating a balanced diet and getting enough sleep, therefore maintaining a healthy body.

So go ahead and turn your frown upside down. Here are three ways to make your day a little brighter:
