Our unique way of mentoring and key aspects of the programme
management roles, and business situations. It hones their decision-making skills as it gives them access to sift through large volumes of information and identify problems, corporate goals, deďŹ ne relevant alternatives, and develop plans on their basis.
Teaching is no longer done through the 'Chalk – Talk' method; and this applies even more so for our working professionals in our PGDM course. At TIMSR we emphasize on this Andragogy; through the aid of various techniques such as – Case study, Case lets, Brain Storming, Experiential Learning, Quizzes, Simulation, Business Games, Experiential Learning, etc apart from Lectures.
Brain Storming Brain Storming is used as a technique to enhance student's lateral thinking through a relaxed and informal approach to problem solving. This encourages them to come up with original, out of the box and creative solutions to problems. It also helps in jolting them out of their normal process of thinking.
Experiential Learning Experiential Learning is a process which facilitates student's knowledge development, skills, and values from direct experience. Experiential Learning encompasses a variety of activities through computer lab sessions such as Mock Trading in various Financial Markets, etc. Wellplanned, supervised and assessed Experiential Learning programs are used. Case Study The Case Study teaching aid is quite useful for the 'Guide on the Side' approach in facilitating a collective learning experience. It helps exposing students to various
Role Plays Role Plays challenge students to deal with complex problems which have no perfect "right" answer and to use a variety of skills that emphasizes the "real-world" side of problems beyond those employed through textual knowledge. Simulation A Simulation is designed so that it will, as much as possible, mimic a real client situation so that students can explore, experiment with, and understand it before engaging with a live client.
Corporate Training Plan The PGDM Course at TIMSR is designed to go beyond the university curriculum to get our students in line to Industry's expectations. We believe in shared learning and to achieve the goal we have a blend of Academicians as well as visiting faculty from Industry. Apart from regular inputs we do invite eminent Industry persons for Guest Session, we encourage National and International Study Tour for our students so that they can enhance their cross cultural learning. It provides you with the valuable opportunity to apply academic knowledge to professional management and business practice. The project develops one core consultancy and investigative skills, and it provides an opportunity for in-depth exploration of a business or management problem of your choice.

Global management combines knowledge of business, culture, history and social practices to help companies ďŹ nd a niche in the international business community and successfully work with other cultures. Global companies have challenge of global competition. To meet up this very challenge we organize International Conferences.
It gives me great pleasure to give back something to my Institute in the form of a vote of thanks for establishing me in the corporate world with ease. It would not have been possible without the support which I got from the faculty at TIMSR, my fellow colleagues, ever inspiring chairman and my parents. The faculty and the support staff of TIMSR groomed my personality meticulously and the funďŹ lled two years of my PGDBM will be cherished forever. The high point of my education and practical training imparted throughout the course to handle management challenges and situations helped me not only to get the best knowledge but also the best campus placement in a good organization.
