New Nutshell Boat

SJDT is hosting a fundraiser to help build a new Nutshell boat for our annual Nutcracker production The original HMS Dream was launched in 1977 Every year the same boat has transported Clara and her Nutcracker to the Kingdom of Sweets at the Center for Performing Arts. In 2022, the HMS Dream had its final sail as the track that it runs on was destroyed at the final show The boat became stuck on the track on which is runs, as it has been known to do This time there was no way to free it and the track was sacrificed for the sake of the production The board as commissioned a new and improved Nutshell boat to be built that will be much more functional, yet stay true to our Founder's original vision.
