In California, adults who left high school before graduation have another way to secure a high school equivalency credential. There are two HSE exams, the HiSET and the GED.

Through testing, you can demonstrate you have the same skills and knowledge as a high school graduate. Once you pass the test, California Department of Education will issue you a high school equivalency certificate.

What HSE programs do you offer?

We offer in-person, self paced model of instruction. Students attend weekly with the teacher to prepare to pass one of the two exams, the HiSET and the GED.

What are the requirements?

• Open to adults 18 years of age or older.

• You do not need high school transcripts to pursue a HSE credential.

What is the schedule?

PRESCHOOL AND PARENT EDUCATION

Wilson Preschool is a parent participation and parent education preschool where parents and children learn together. We use a developmentally-appropriate curriculum based on the HighScope model where children learn through hands-on experiences and active play. We respect and celebrate our families' diversity and provide a safe and nurturing environment. Parents actively participate in their children's classrooms once a week. Through their participation, parents learn ways to foster their children's social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative development.
