HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY
In California, adults who left high school before graduation have ways to secure a high school equivalency (HSE) credential. There are two HSE exams, the HiSET and the GED.
What HSE programs do you offer?
We offer an in-person, self-paced model of instruction. Students attend weekly with the teacher to prepare to pass one of the two exams, the HiSET or the GED.
Through testing, you can demonstrate you have the same skills and knowledge as a high school graduate. Once you pass the test, California Department of Education will issue you a high school equivalency certificate. We also offer the HiSET exams in Spanish. • Open to adults 18 years of age or older. • You do not need high school transcripts to pursue a HSE credential.
