FALL 2014 LOOK BOOK UGANDA/DALLAS AKOLAPROJECT.ORG

A NON-PROFIT SOCIAL BUSINESS EMPOWERING MARGINALIZED WOMEN TO ELEVATE THEIR FAMILIES OUT OF POVERTY THROUGH DESIGN.

100% OF PROFITS ARE RETURNED TO AKOLA WOMEN IN UGANDA AND INVESTED IN DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES TO TRANSFORM THEIR COMMUNITIES. BELIEVE IN A WOMAN. EMPOWER A FAMILY. TRANSFORM A COMMUNITY. AKOLA PROJECT.ORG

A note from our founder: At Akola Project we are inspired by the incredible transformations we witness as women are empowered through vocational training and employment. Each season, we design accessories to sell in the global marketplace so we can expand our impact on marginalized women in East Africa through the Akola Project. Akola jewelry is hand made with care, and has provided hope and opportunity to women and children in need since 2006. Our hand crafted designs are as beautiful as the stories of transformation from the women who make them. We invite you to join us on this great journey!

-Brittany Merrill Underwood
