Dear applicant,

It is our greatest pleasure, as MC 2011/2012, to open application for MC 12/13 in AIESEC in Spain. We still remember our election time very clearly even though it has been a year now – a year that started in this very moment and brought a life experience which one cannot describe nor predict, one has to live it o fully understand. By doing something extraordinary, emotionally moving, something which gives an extra meaning to our lives, we live unforgettable moment. We cannot believe that this year has passed by so fast that nowadays we are already thinking on people who are going to take our positions over and our work and AIESEC in Spain further. AIESEC in Spain is an organization consisting of unique group of people that is striving for a future full of achieved dreams, new challenges, emotions, goals, new ideas and an impact on the world around us. It has a rich history which makes a big part of where we are today, however we are the ones deciding in what shape it is and it will be. We cannot wait to know people who will take over to make their piece of history in AIESEC in Spain and live an experience which can only be lived in MC in Spain. You are the one deciding on your steps towards the coming year; don’t make any excuses for yourself. MC life Requirements for MC positions All positions are full time ( 8 hours a day) and based in Madrid (flat and office). All positions are open for international applicants. The level of Spanish required:  

MCP, MC VP GIP ICX, MC VP BD, MC VP F&L – excellent MC VP TM, MC VP OGX, MC VP GCDP ICX, MC VP OD – basic A2 ( all candidates will be asked to improve their Spanish during their term as soon as possible).

General MC Responsibilities            

Lead, encourage and coordinate all the activities of AIESEC in Spain Represent AIESEC in Spain and take responsibility in front of the international entities of the association for the activities made in the country Inform to the members about the activities, discussions and agreements Realize international agreements Attempt to inform within academic, business and public sectors the aims and objectives of the association Control the financial resources of the MC Ensure the fulfillment of the statutes and decisions of the plenary Attend all national conferences, planning and team days Meet goals planned in the beginning of the year Start participating in the activities after selection announcement (online)

MC living conditions MC team lives together in flat in the center of Madrid (Palos de la Frontera 24, 28012, Madrid) nad works together in one office (Calle Ardemans 16, bajo izquierda, 28028 Madrid). The MC 2012-2013 will be comprised of 8 members, therefore according to the economic conditions of the MC, these members will be paid 345 € per month for personal living expenses. There is a possibility that the first payment in June can be delayed. The accommodation cost will be covered by AIESEC in Spain. You will not have mobile phone for usage, however all working calls can be done from the fixed line in the office. AIESEC in Spain does not provide a contract nor health or social insurance. You will be provided minimum insurance while working (if something happens to you in the office or at events organized by AIESEC in Spain), however you will not have any specific status. Internet in the office is provided. Internet at home is installed and it will be up to MC elect to decide about the expenses for it. Travel costs and fees for national conferences are covered. Travel costs for LC visits are covered. Full or partial refund of travel costs and fees for international meetings (numberof MC members going for an international meeting depends on the MC budget and MC elect) – this year three MC members were covered expenses for IC 2011.

Time availability during the term Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 18:00 (exact starting hour depends on MC elect) Weekends are free other than those schedules for conference and team days Official term: 1st July 2012 – 30th June 2013 Transition: 1st June 2012 – 30th June 2012 After being elected: you will start communication with the MC current right after your elections. You will be asked to attend 2 conferences:

Timeline of the selection process Selection process procedure 1. Application package a. Application questionnaire i. Answer all general questions in the questionnaire and all the functional questions related to the position you are applying for ii. You can apply for maximum 3 positions, you have to answer the functional questions for the first 2 preferences iii. Application consist of maximum 15 pages iv. Answer in the language you are asked in b. Signed release i. A letter stating that you agree with your documents being made available on myaiesec.net and used for the purpose of selections ii. It has to be signed by you c. 2-4 endorsement letters i. Can be in English or Spanish, signed and with contact of the author ii. At least 2 should be from LCP and higher d. Curriculum Vitae (max 2 pages) e. Video i. Video where you have a chance to introduce yourself to us. It is all up to you. The only limitation is that it cannot exceed 3 minuts. ii. The video has to be uploaded to you tube and the link included in the email together with application package. iii. No one else except for candidate can appear in the video

f. Eurotalent tests

i. You can chose language of the tests ii. You need to send back two filled in tests (filled, scanned) – one of EDA and one Diversigrama

2. Vote of confidence a. You have to be given vote of confidence from LCs in AIESEC in Spain in voting 3. Interview a. Date and time of the interview will be specified after the deadline of the application 4. Final results
