BASIC DESIGN 1 INTRODUCTION Exercise involves volumetric exploration within a cube of 16cm. Form being generated in two different ways; one using planes and other by voids. Materials used were PVC sheet and POP.
Form created by interlocking of planes in a grid . Form created by scooping out voids from solid cube in the grid.
Ve r t i c a l a n d horizontal planes p r o d u c e s m u l t i l e v e l spaces. Cubical voids generating enclosed spaces.
Spaces bring open yet visually divided. Non-uniform depressions gives dynamic appearance to the solid mass.
BASIC DESIGN 2 INTRODUCTION Exercise involves development of three dimensional object from a two dimensional geometrical graphic. Design evolves through transformation of forms considering the graphic as section. Square as a basic shape is used throughout.
