BRAZIL LULA, PRESIDENT FOR THE THIRD TIME

Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva won Brazil’s presidential elections this October 30th. He obtained 50.9% of the votes and defeated Jair Bolsonaro, who was seeking reelection. The leftist leader will govern between 2023 and 2027. His election means the creation of an important block of progressive governments in Latin America, which includes Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Honduras, Bolivia and now Brazil. Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva ganó las elecciones presidenciales de Brasil este 30 de octubre. Obtuvo el 50,9% de los votos y derroto a Jair Bolsonaro, quien buscaba la reelección. El dirigente de izquierda gobernará entre el 2023 y el 2027. Su elección signifi ca la conformación de un importante bloque de gobiernos progresistas en América Latina, del que hacen parte México, Colombia, Chile, Honduras, Bolivia y ahora Brasil.
