Philanthropy Alpha Gamma Delta’s international philanthropy is The Alpha Gamma Foundation, which provides support to members and other individuals living with diabetes. Alpha Gams participate in American Diabetes Association fundraisers and other events around the community that support the diabetes initiative. Each year we host a cookout with Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity to benefit The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. We participate in many other philanthropic events throughout the year including a crawfish boil with Alpha Tau Omega and Beta Theta Pi as well as a benefit concert with Sigma Nu. In the wake of the devastating tornado that hit Tuscaloosa in April 2011, Alpha Gamma Delta hosted a clothing drive at our house. We collected clothing from Greek members across the UA campus. We had an amazing response and donated over 150 bags of clothing.
