Al Ain Zoo proudly celebrates over half a century of operations, trained and employed Emirati women who have excelled in animal care, nature conservation and wildlife protection. Emirati women now account for more than 38% of the Zoo’s total workforce, with 206 female employees.
Al Ain Zoo Celebrates Conservation Success with birth of new Arabian Sand Cat
As part of Al Ain Zoo ongoing efforts to preserve endangered species, Al Ain Zoo delighted to announce the birth of three new Arabian sand cats for the first time in several years The sand cat is considered an endangered animal according to the Red List of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Spot the Meerkat
Al Ain Zoo organized the “Spot the Meerkat” competition over a period of 3 weeks, once a week, the participants searched for the face of the Meerkat in the photo which published through the media channels, The winners has given the opportunity to experience an Al Ain safari.
