Description :

Akpakpa-Dodomey is an informal settlement in Cotonou. This neighborhood is in desperate need of a clinic, and has a site waiting for one to be realized. Our design strives to create a sustainable building and uses local materials such as clay, rebar, and corrugated metal. This medical clinic is not only designed to function efficiently, but also as a gathering space for the local community .

Semester

:

Spring 2018 (Thesis)

Location

:

Boston,USA

Professor

:

Anne-Catrin Schultz

Description :

This thesis project explores how the value of Boston City Hall can be sustained and reinterpreted through the process of analytical deconstruction, followed by strategic reconstruction with the aid of programmatic changes such as the addition of a Museum of Boston and public programs (including collaborative working space) in order to reinterpret the value of the building and reconnect with the contemporary and existing urban context.

03 GREEN CORRIDOR Semester

:

Spring 2017 (Study Abroad)

Location

:

Girona, Spain

Professor

:

Maneul Delgado

Team Members :

30

Berta Costa, Barbara Darder, Furkan Mor

Description :

Green Corridor is a master plan that reimagines the future of the transportation system and infrastructure in Girona region of Spain. This proposition adds new tram systems to connect towns lacking the infrastructure to towns that currently rely on the rail system. In addition, by turning a redundant road into a green corridor, the design promotes the use of public transportation, biking and walking. It takes a space originally occupied by cars and creates a place for recreational activities.

04 CULINARY SCHOOL

40

Semester

:

Spring 2016

Location

:

Boston,USA

Professor

:

Krist Karlins

Description :

This culinary school finds itself at the educational corner of Boston’s South End Neighborhood. The design brings together the process of learning and the origins of the culinary field, creating one form of performance. The transparency of the building allows this school to serve as a stage for students and chefs. And the careful distribution of commercial and educational programs allow them to separate spatially without using any physical barrier.
