Our American Ships

Coastal Cats | 100 Guests

American Eagle and American Glory are the first in a brand new fleet of catamaran-inspired small ships, designed to provide the ultimate Luxury Adventure™ for our guests. Each blends the excitement of expedition cruising with the refinement, comfort, stability, and land proximity of river cruising. The new ships feature modern décor and the most spacious staterooms in the industry, most with private balconies, as well as an elegant restaurant, multiple lounges, a fitness center, and an outdoor café.

Constellation Class | 170 Guests

American Constellation and American Constitution operate on both coasts of the United States and provide the most premium atmosphere in the industry. These new ships are designed to accommodate modern expectations and offer all of the latest amenities. Expansive rooms offer sweeping views from every vantage point, while furnished private balconies allow for total relaxation as we glide to each spectacular destination.

Independence Class | 90 Guests

American Star, American Independence, and American Spirit cruise many of the same itineraries as the Constellation Class ships and offer a similar atmosphere on board. They have slightly smaller staterooms, though still nearly twice the size of other small cruise ships, and feature a selection of spacious public spaces and amenities.

River Classes

American Riverboats™ | 180 Guests

The brand new American Serenade, American Symphony, American Melody, American Jazz, American Harmony, and American Song have elevated the standard for riverboat cruising across the country. This new class of modern riverboats is the first of its kind in the U.S. and features contemporary styling, a grand multi-story atrium in the center of the ship, a variety of sizable lounges, and private balconies in each spacious stateroom.

Traditional Paddlewheelers | 110-180 Guests

The recently renovated American Splendor, American Heritage, and American Pride offer a classic paddlewheeler experience with modern design features and amenities. Guests can enjoy large staterooms with private balconies and hotel-style bathrooms, complimentary breakfast room service, and a variety of unique lounges.

American West | 100 Guests

American West offers the same amazing cruise experience as our other riverboats, including interior entrances, private balconies, spacious lounges, and an intimate onboard atmosphere. This paddlewheeler has slightly smaller staterooms and was completely renovated in 2022 to feature Western and Native American inspired themes.
