What’s your artistic background? -I began drawing at age 3 following my father’s example and tuition at home. What’s integral to the work of an artist? -The soul, no commercial compromise What role does the artist have in society?  -To remind her of who we are and where we came from. Ask existential questions? Help them dream and find themselves. What art do you most identify with?  -That of the child and first nations of every country. The shamanic caveman art. What themes do you pursue?  -The supernatural, the shamanic connection, sociopolitical issues, sometimes satire, sexuality. What’s your favourite art work? -the indigenous, cave-art, shamanic kind. Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?  -After the ritual by which I got adopted by a Brazilian tribe, the Shavante in Mato Grosso, in Brazil and having been exposed to their artefacts and regalia and that after 2 months I was nearly murdered by a young sorcerer. What jobs have you done, other than being an artist?  -Teaching English, tour guiding, interpreter, translator, creative directing, singing, coordinating pre-graduates from China in Sri Lanka in teaching kindergarten, elementary, and coordinator at a turtle rescue farm in Galle, Sri Lanka. Working in a bakery as a job student. Travelling the globe for 30 years. Working at a photo copier centre and supermarket. Holding shamanic ceremonies in South America.
