DRIVERS EDUCATION:

Are you at least 14 ½ years old? Do you want to learn how to drive? Driverís Ed classes are being offered this fall, starting in September. The classes will be held in the GHS library on Wednesdays after early release and they will continue through the end of the semester. At the end of the course and when you turn 15, you will be eligible to take a test for your learners permit. The classes are free and after you get your learners permit, you can get free behind the wheel training using the

schoolís drivers ed car. If you are interested, please contact Robert Whiting at whitingrobert29@ gmail.com.

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY: Look out for pedestrians everywhere, at all times. Always yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. Never pass vehicles stopped at a crosswalk. There may be people crossing that you canít see. Use extra caution when driving in hard-tosee conditions, such as nighttime or in bad weather.

Cross streets at crosswalks or intersections whenever possible. This is where drivers expect pedestrians. Look for cars in all directions. Never assume a driver sees you. Make eye contact with drivers as they approach you to make sure you are seen. Safety is a shared responsibility.

SUDOKU

HEREíS HOW IT WORKS

Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle!
