Greetings Albany Community!

I hope this edition of our Albany Activity Guide finds you and yours doing well We have prepared another information-packed guide to share what is happening within your local government, and also spotlight some of the many ways to get involved in Albany We have an exciting line up of recreation classes included within this guide, with a little something for everyone from our youth through senior programming options In addition, we are very happy to bring back the opportunity to provide our facilities at the Community Center or Senior Center for private rental once again

With a new term of the City Council beginning, we also have a new term for all of the advisory bodies to the City Council Advisory bodies are comprised of members of our community, as appointed by the City Council, on topics of priority for our city including but not limited to planning, development, transportation, public safety, finance, arts, parks and open space, climate change, and many more We welcome your applications for these important advisory roles Please check our website at www.albanyca.org/advise for the application as well as additional information on the advisory bodies to the City Council You can also obtain an application and information regarding the advisory bodies to the City Council by visiting our Administration counter at City Hall – 1000 San Pablo Avenue, or emailing our City Clerk at CityClerk@albanyca.org
