The true visceral nature of the collective consciousness put forth and often unacknowledged by the student body of The University of New York at Albany has been downplayed and undervalued for long enough. As fellow colleagues and friends, we “The Core” of Albany Student Magazine have decided to take the arduous task of documenting our various states of existence through the frame of our common enrollment as students of this institution. Through first hand journalistic and literary observation and critique, we now urge our fellow members of the Albany community to finally put an end to this criminal state of silence.
