Black Men Got Something to Say

On November 1, 2022, was Dr. Griswold’s first official day as the newly appointed ATC President. Dr. Griswold took time out of his busy evening for a TEAAMS (Teaching Empowering African American Males to Succeed) event to welcome The Black Man Lab to Albany Technical College. The Black Men Got Something to Say Tour was a success.

Thanks, Dr. Griswold, for always supporting TEAAMS!

Ems Nremt Bootcamp

In October 2022, the ATC Paramedicine Program hosted a National Registry Refresher Bootcamp on campus. Attendees from all over Georgia attended the course to increase or refresh their knowledge in paramedicine. The Bootcamp received approval from the Georgia Office of EMS & Trauma for 48 hours of continuing education credits. Patricia Hotz, retired EMS Educator, served as the lead instructor. "We are excited to see such a tremendous response for this first Bootcamp. It is great to meet and work with EMS Professionals from other regions in Georgia. This collaboration helps make Georgia EMS even better! We are looking forward to hosting another Bootcamp in 2023." Tracie Naylor-Griffin, ATC Paramedicine Program Chair.
