Abbas Yousif’s work includes paintings,graphic arts and “livres d’artiste”. He hashad six solo exhibitions in Bahrain andin Abu Dhabi; he has also participatedto numerous collective exhibitions inthe Middle East, Europe and Asia. Publiccollections holding his works include theBritish National Museum, United Kingdom,National Museum, Damascus and theRoyal Fine Arts Society, Amman. Yousifwon first prize in ‘’Arts that inspire ArabicCalligraphy’’ in Sharjah, 2006 and he wonfirst prize in graphic at Calligraphy Biennialof the Islamic World, Tehran, Iran, 2002.
