Earthy yet gentle, this look has a calming ambience. It lures you in with a promise of comfort and tranquillity. The pastel palette is subdued by matte, chalky finishes - while textures are organic. Elements of linen, knotted wood, dried botanical stems and bisque ceramics come together to create this stylish yet unpretentious haven. The feel is minimalist, breezy and inspires peace.

ECLECTIC EQUALITY You can’t miss this look. Bold, jubilant colours clash shamelessly, giving off infectious energy. The vibe is fun and uplifting. However this proud look is also one of substance thanks to its diverse elements. Carved mango wood, resin/bone inlays, hand-painted ceramics, terrazzo and a flash of gold are flaunted with pride. HOMESTEAD This is classic country living, rejuvenated. Elements of provincial style are brightened up by delicate wildflower illustrations. Our cheery bamboo fibre servingware collection is the main feature of this story, and lends itself to Australian country style. This theme is nourishing and familiar, like a homemade loaf pulled piping hot from the homestead hearth.

ENCOUNTER CULTURE Here, varied elements meet in a melting pot. A predominantly monochrome palette creates a bold look, letting organic textures be appreciated. A lot of detailed handiwork goes into feature pieces - including carved woods, woven basketry and unique ceramics. Foliage stems (especially cotton) soften the overall look. The style keeps an open mind to diverse influences, and resists being pigeonholed.

ROGUE DRIED LOOK - TWO WAYS

P R E S E R V E D N AT U R A L

We’re pleased to bring you natural, preserved stems in addition to the artificial options explored over the page. These offerings here are real flowers and foliage that have been fresh-cut, then preserved through a special process to achieve that beautiful dried look. In some cases they are coloured for extra interest. The special treatment process helps the finished product keep its natural look and shape for years to come. We’ve focussed on classic garden stems like gypsophila and bunny tail, but our fan palms (introduced last season) are also a hit.

ARTIFICIAL Here, we explore how Rogue’s faux dried-look stems can be worked into some of the season’s key Homewares trends.

< GOLDEN STATE For this sun-drenched story, mix dried-look Australian native florals with tropical foliage. The robust, thick crowns of banksias and waratahs are the feature flowers of your arrangement. Whilst not native, proteas will also work. The look can be filled out with fan palm leaves that provide depth without distracting from the focal flowers. This story is warm yet mellow. We’ve worked with suppliers to develop special dried-look colours that are inspired by nature, but with extra vividness.

RAW SANCTUARY > Combine dried-look flowers and foliage with a little bit of fresh to highlight texture. Arrangements inspired by this look suit both traditional and modern interiors as they favour soft tones that are pleasing to the eye. Our dried-look Australian native flowers work here, but the story can be differentiated from others as it uses an abundance of soft, fluffy foliage.

< ERODED COAST This look is inspired by the colours and textures of coastal geography. Flower and foliage stems with an extreme dried look fit in perfectly. They conjure the image of natural flowers that have been baked by the sun and cured by the salt air. Pampas grass is an important element, and also a key trend in itself. Australian wildflower stems work well here, especially those with deeper hues.

EMBRACING HOMEMADE This year has certainly been ‘unique’. We’ve all had to adapt. A key lifestyle change is that more time is being spent at home. This has sparked a rediscovery of good old-fashioned home cooking, and a bit of creativity! Equipment for baking bread, making fresh pasta and appliances for preparing nourishing family meals are important now more than ever. Here we highlight kitchen goods that let people stay at home and make their own.

DIY KITS Whilst it’s certainly trendy to make things from scratch, it’s also a way to enjoy food and drinks without undesirable additives. We introduced Davis & Waddell’s ‘DIY’ kits to delight the masses keen to roll up their sleeves and get crafty in the kitchen. The kits include all the equipment needed to make popular products - including dairy-free nut ‘mylk’, crunchy sprouts, probiotic-rich kombucha, infused gin and fermented foods. The user just needs to source their desired ingredients. Perhaps the most appealing aspect of our kits is how accessible and easy they make things. Each box gives a clear overview of the steps, whilst full instructions and recipes are included within. Whilst perfect for gifting, these kits will attract shoppers looking to avoid preservatives and unnecessary packaging associated with store-bought alternatives. Plus, it’s satisfying and fun to do it oneself!

KOMBUCHA Makes it easy to brew kombucha at home - saving money whilst avoiding additives. Blends two trends: kombucha and DIY. A great way to add probiotics and antioxidants to the diet.

FERMENTATION CROCK Ferment ingredients at home for delicious pickles, sauerkraut, kimchi and more. Whilst being packed with zingy flavour, fermented foods also contain probiotics associated with digestive balance.

SPROUTING Jar for turning grains and seeds into fresh, nutritious, preservative-free sprouts year-round, in just days. Also suitable for creating ‘activated’ nuts. Lid with feet allows air circulation, and drainage when inverted.

NUT MYLK Suitable for creating fresh, wholesome nut ‘mylk’ from almost any nut. Great fridge-friendly bottle in traditional milk bottle style. Leftover nut pulp makes nutritious by-product for smoothies and baking.

GIN Enlivens London Dry gin with delightful new flavours. Suitable for infusing fruits, spices, botanicals and other creative ingredients. Two bottles for storing different blends.
