STORY SYNOPSIS
“THE ALCHEMIST’S SPELL” By Londa R. Marks Deep within the foggy moors a witty yet clever alchemist resides in The Alchemist’s Workshop devoted to revealing the magick of life, conjuring a few spells and psychically reading the casual querent who drops by. But, The Alchemist’s enchanted life is peculiarly altered when persuasive artiste Isabella Mistle-Thrush arrives with convincing plans to build the World of Tarot upon his magickal lair, steals his powerful alchemy tools and a vault of souls from his workshop, later, she involves him in spiritual battle with the nefarious Lord of Earth. With perfect timing, Isabella is joined by her phantom assistant Lord Raven in a chivalrous attempt to rescue her from what she thinks are wily souls used to create a Hermetic Order of Alchemy. The Hierophant, an intuitive scholar and Hermetic Order of Alchemy spirit guide materializes from words of a magick book warning that hexes surround some of the stolen souls. The Hermetic Order of Alchemy spirit guides will be prevented from coming to life if the hexes are not removed. The World of Tarot, wish granting and divination, cannot exist without this highly intuitive community. Only the Lord of Earth, can remove the hexes, multiplying everyone’s peril upon entering his red abyss. Isabella, The Hierophant and Lord Raven transform into the Lord of Earth’s devoted legions of lesser entities, while the Lord of Earth clashes with the Alchemist humorously bartering for the powerful alchemy tools in exchange for the hex removal system. Dead-stopped at an impasse, the hexes cannot be removed unless the Lord of Earth’s demands are met. Hazardous tasks continue even if the foursome eludes the Lord of Earth and pilfers the hex removal system. To find their way to the World of Tarot they must access the Tower of Six, travel through 2012 and exit through the wall of the universe.
INTRODUCTION
Long ago, Ancient Egypt was the Hermetic Order of Alchemy’s first earthly experience and hatching ground for cultivating the art of alchemy. Their purpose has been to travel throughout universes and install their messages in various portals (Seers and oracles). Like the priests of Ra at Memphis in ancient Egypt Seers formed a functionary role in early civilization. Adept Seers and advisors activated the Ka, or the aspect of the soul of both gods and humans and divine personification of magick. By doing this they could influence the gods and gain direct knowledge of the Divine for protection, healing and transformations. Adept Seer’s from all periods of life rely on these ancient Egyptian roots from where alchemy was born. They understand that it is one and the same. The Hermetic Order of Alchemy was present during the time of the great Egyptian adept king Hermes Trismegistus, the author of the Hermetic Corpus, a series of sacred texts that are the basis of Hermeticism. Trismegistus, known as the founder of the art of alchemy, is generally depicted holding a globe with astrological symbols on it. This god of the arts and sciences existed 400 years before Moses, before Abraham’s descent into Egypt. After being initiated by Hermes Trismegistus in ancient Egypt and many spiritual journeys throughout history and time the Hermetic Order of Alchemy spirit guides arrived in the medieval town of Florence, Italy. It was the renaissance period and buzzing with creative workshop excitement. Marsilio Ficino, the Medici philosopher and astrologer was being courted by his patron Cosimo de’ Medici to translate Hermes Trismegistus’s Corpus Hermeticum series of treatises. Esotericism, astrology, alchemy and magick were elevated topics of philosophy sessions in Cosimo’s Platonic Academy. Later, in a parallel universe the Hermetic Order of Alchemy reconnect with Lorenzo de’ Medici, in the Lorenzo Medici Tarot, by Londa R. Marks, where key players of the renaissance period have gathered among the ethers and invite some important figures from history.

With practice, meditation can help you tune into the Hermetic Order of Alchemy and the World of Tarot®: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed deck. To tune into the Hermetic Order of Alchemy Hold your tarots cards in your hand while sitting quietly for 2 minutes with eyes closed. Clear your mind of all thoughts. Then, picture one of the Hermetic Order of Alchemy spirit guides from the Major Arcana as your own personal guide. When a connection is truly made, confirmation is received through prophecies received either subconsciously or in a daydream state of consciousness. Psychic Readings
The Alchemist Tarot Revealed is a highly advanced tarot deck but easy enough for novice interaction. You can use World of Tarot®: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed cards to do a personal reading for yourself or you can have a professional psychic read your World of Tarot®: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed cards for you. Be careful when doing your own psychic readings you can have a tendency to ‘load the deck’ in your favor, meaning you may read it wrong to get the answer you prefer rather than an honest answer. If you do a reading for yourself be objective and see the reading for what it is; good, bad, instructive or otherwise.
Tarot Reading for Yourself
A quick tarot reading for yourself can be done with six tarot cards placed in a circle. The circle signifies a specific cycle relating to your question; where you are now, what has been the basis of where you are now, where you going with this issue and how it is likely to end up. When you are ready shuffle the cards with your eyes closed while focusing on your question. Shuffle the cards at least six times, or when you get a feeling that you ready to receive your answers. The feeling of connection comes from an instinctual perception of just knowing, or, having a gut feeling. If you have any doubts or just don’t feel that you are making the connection reshuffle the cards another six times or wait until later. Stop and pull one card from any part of the deck and lay it down. Without further shuffling proceed to pull another card and place it at the bottom of your first card. Continue with another card and place it to the left of the first drawn card. The next card place at the top left, of your first drawn card. Then, the next drawn card place to the top right of your first drawn card. Finally, draw the sixth card and place to the right of the first drawn card. Now, review the divinations in the booklet for each card and evaluate how they work together with your tarot card layout. In the back of the booklet is a layout diagram and instructions for accurately laying out your cards. Be sure to layout your cards with the images of The Hermetic Order of Alchemy spirit guides facing upward.
Drawing One Card Tarot Reading
If you prefer to draw one card for a quick question you have, you can do that too. Follow the procedure above for shuffling then draw one card. You can do this as often as you need to but just be honest with yourself as to what the right answers are. If you feel that your reading is not correct or you need more information from more cards then you can do the same
shuffling procedure again and draw another card. Take a few minutes every day to close your eyes, shuffle the cards and get to know them. Let the cards guide your hands through the shuffling process while focusing on a specific need or question for the day. Sometimes a card falls out of the deck or seems to jump out. Notice this card; it is a card that is trying to tell you something.
Tarot Cards, The Hermetic Order of Alchemy & Their Skills
All cards contain numerical, astrological, planetary properties and symbols as well as Hebrew (Kabbalah – means: receiving) letters. Some symbolism may apply to your question but some may not appear to apply to your question – at least, right now. You may however, see that it does at a later time. Keeping a journal helps you determine the value of each reading. Eventually, you will see a story developing for you.
World of Tarot®: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed The Alchemist Tarot Major Arcana The Major Arcana also called the Major Trumps of the tarot deck consist of 22 cards and are used in esoteric practice either alone or with the Minor Arcana.
Staying with tradition, the Major Arcana cards depict a roman numeral on each card for that cards’ number and scenes on the cards are heavy in symbolism. World of Tarot速: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed cards are numbered in roman numerals from 0-(2012)XXI in the Major Arcana and I-X in the Minor Arcana with each particular tool belonging to Page, Knight, Queen and King. We begin with the Roman numeral 0 for the Motley Exemplar, the first character of the Hermetic Order of Alchemy in World of Tarot速: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed cards. The Motley Exemplar represents a person who sets an example for being diverse, optimistic and unique enough to set new trends and become legendary. This card can also be considered the last card; like the chicken and the egg - the beginning and the end. The 0 Motley Exemplar card in World of Tarot速: The Alchemist Tarot Revealed deck completes the circle (or cycle) of 22 cards or the Major Arcana. Each one of these cards contains cryptic meaning like the 0 Motley Exemplar card so be sure to analyze your cards selected for the day. Each time you look at them you will always see something new. He is the Lord of Tarot, the Lord of Magick. He is the supreme messenger who resides in The Alchemist’s Workshop filled with esoteric knowledge and supernatural powers. He holds clandestine codes based on infinity. The number 8 on its side is depicted as a symbol for infinity and is one of The Alchemist’s symbols and tools. The number 8 is the number of Magick and refers to Hermes, another Lord of Magick and Messenger of the Gods related to The Alchemist. The Alchemist whispers to the witches and wizards because he is the magician who knows what the witches and wizards need to know. His magick is achieved through four of his alchemy tools: Knowledge (cross); Will (cycles); Courage (keys) and Silence (vessels). They were both born during the period of the Egyptians who many times married within the family to keep the lineage and power pure. Hermetic Order of Alchemy Character Name: Rue Nettlebur Roman Numeral: IV (four) Two Word Divinations: Defender & Leader IV Emperor Represents: He is someone who has achieved a level of accomplishment, commands respect, is disciplined and knows the facts. He is Nomad of the sun and will not be kept down. If you have drawn this card you are being prompted to take more control over your situation and lead yourself into a solid and secure position. Divinatory Message: One hand is heavy with the key to life and the other is heavy with the cross he bears. He has compiled much knowledge and knows the facts but answers cannot be divulged to the masses since only a few will be able to fully understand them and utilize them. So, he will choose a select few to reveal his information. He is compassionate yet hides it. He is smart yet cannot learn enough.
