THROUGH THE YEARS

Len Aldridge installs electrical power into homes, barns, and businesses throughout Nebraska.

In 1952 Aldridge Electric, Inc. is founded and opens the first office performing traffic signal installation, street lighting, and industrial projects.

2nd generation leadership begins and Ken Aldridge transitions to President. By securing significant projects in airport, highway, and utility infrastructure, Aldridge makes a name for itself across Illinois.

Ken Aldridge becomes the sole owner and focuses on new markets - including foundation drilling and telecommunications.

1930-40 1950-60 1990-2000 1970-80

Aldridge accelerates the expansion of foundation services to the East Coast. Major work is awarded including utility contractor of choice programs, national drilling projects, and large mass transit projects.

2000-2010

Alex Aldridge and Stephen Aldridge assume leadership of the company. Internally, there is a concentrated focus on training and development programs for craft and management. The PreFab program is born; dedicated to innovative prefabrication that changes how we bid and install work.

2015-2017

2010-2015 2017-2023

Transit work expands to the West Coast. Agile project planning is implemented, changing the way we project manage each job. Significant enhancements launch our culture of safety with a journey toward being incident and Injury Free (IIF).

As the company continues to expand, the organization is adjusted to include Chief Operating Officers for Transportation, Power, and Corporate Services. These new executive positions allow focused oversight of management teams and projects. The Mission Critical Division emerges as the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team takes BIM modeling and pre-construction services to the next level.

SAFETY CULTURE

At Aldridge, safety isn’t just a priority; it’s an integral value that defines our culture. Safety is more than a workplace concern; it’s a way of life beyond the job site. Our commitment to safety goes beyond industry standards—we’ve implemented the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) initiative, a transformational journey towards safety excellence.

Our ultimate goal is clear: to be an organization free from incident and injury.
