EL JOVEN GUÍA DE UN PEMEX CONTEMPORÁNEO POR GEORGINA CRUZ

C

omo un estandarte de la renovada gestión priista y el llamado PRI del Siglo XXI, a inicios del pasado mes de diciembre Emilio Lozoya Austin fue designado como director general de Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), además de oficializar así su llegada al renombrado y polémico gabinete del presidente Peña Nieto.

Economista y licenciado en Derecho por el ITAM y la UNAM, a sus 38 años de edad también cuenta con una maestría en Desarrollo Económico por la prestigiosa Universidad de Harvard; de igual forma, previo a ocupar un lugar en el equipo de trabajo oficial del nuevo Mandatario Nacional, se desempeñó como vicecoordinador de Asuntos Internacionales en el equipo de transición del tricolor.

Además de una extraordinaria preparación académica, Lozoya Austin cuenta también con la vena familiar en el terreno político y del servicio público, pues su padre: Emilio Lozoya Thalmann, fue director del Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE) y titular de la Secretaría de Energía, esto durante la gestión federal de Carlos Salinas de Gortari.

Radicado en Manhattan durante los últimos años, además de fundar y dirigir la empresa dedicada a la vivienda de interés social: TerraDesign (misma que llegó a conseguir desarrollar algunos proyectos en Senegal y México), también fue uno de los pioneros que dio el banderazo de arranque al fondo JF Holding -con sede en Luxemburgo- el cual creció de una capitalización de 50 millones de euros a 1,200 millones, a poco más de un año de su apertura.

De igual forma, ocupó importantes puestos dentro de los Consejos de Administración en empresas del ramo de la infraestructura, concesiones, el sector financiero y tecnologías de la información.

La última en la que se desempeñó -hasta poco antes de integrarse al equipo de campaña peñista- fue la reconocida constructora española OHL, además de también colaborar con la Fundación Quálitas.

s a banner of the renewed management of the PRI and the so- called PRI of the XXI century, at the beginning of last December Emilio Lozoya Austin was appointed as CEO of Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), along with formalizing his arrival to renowned and controversial cabinet of President Peña Nieto.

An economist and with a law degree from the ITAM and the UNAM, at 38 years of age, he also has a Masters in Economic Development from the prestigious Harvard University, likewise, before holding office in the official team of the new National President, he has served as deputy coordinator of International Affairs in transitional team of the tricolor (PRI).

Besides an excellent academic preparation, Lozoya Austin also has

a family background in the political arena, as well as in public service; his father, Emilio Lozoya Thalmann, was director of the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) and head of the Ministry of Energy, during the federal administration of Carlos Salinas de Gortari.

Further back a generation, his grandfather: the military Doctor Jesus Lozaya Solis became acting governor of Chihuahua between 1955 and 1956. However, the path of Emilio – son-was forged in the economic and business sector, to which he stands out as founder of some investment funds specialized in providing private equity in various international industries, including restructurings and transactions at a global level.

Based in Manhattan during the last years, in addition to founding

and directing the company dedicated to social interest housing: TerraDesign (the same that was able to develop some projects in Senegal and Mexico), he was also one of the pioneers who gave the initial kickoff of the JF Holding- based in Luxembourg- which grew from a capitalization of 50 million euros to 1,200 million, a little over a year of its opening.

It is a traditional dish from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo that surprises with its easy preparation and exquisite flavor. A delight born from the ocean!

1.- One kilogram of fresh dolphin-fish or white fish 2.- Lemon and salt as desired 3.- ¼ of purple onion 4.- Two Serrano chili peppers Slice the fish in fine slices, put the slices in a crystal container and pour the juice from the lemons until the fish is all covered in it. Add salt and let it marinate for 5 to 10 minutes. Once the fish is marinated, add onions and sliced peppers and mix thoroughly. Let the dish marinate a couple of minutes before serving.

¡Deleite del mar a la mesa! // En esta ocasión, presentamos un detalle de la gastronomía guerrerense a manera de receta; es un platillo tradicional de Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo que sorprende por su fácil preparación y exquisito sabor. ¡Un manjar nacido del mar!

1.- Un kilo de pescado fresco dorado o blanco 2.- Limón y sal al gusto 3.- ¼ de cebolla morada 4.- Dos chiles serranos Cortar el pescado en tiras muy finas, colocar las tiras en un recipiente de cristal y exprimir el jugo de los limones hasta cubrir el pescado. Añadir la sal y dejar reposar de 5 a 10 minutos. Una vez que el pescado quede marinado, agregar la cebolla junto con los chiles cortados y mezclar bien. Dejar el platillo en reposo por unos minutos antes de servir.

Así, durante el mes de enero, personal de la Secretaría de Turismo del Estado de Jalisco y del Fideicomiso para el Desarrollo de la Región Centro-Occidente acudieron al municipio de Tecolotlán con el objetivo de referenciar la ubicación de los atractivos del lugar para el proyecto de corredores turísticos de la región.

Con esta medida, la Ruta del Mariachi es fortalecida para ofrecer a los visitantes la música tradicional mexicana junto con los atractivos de cada municipio del trayecto, como los talleres de equipales en Zacoalco de Torres, las aguas termales en Villa Corona, la Escuela del Mariachi en Cocula y la Sierra de Quila en Tecolotlán. Esto amplía la ruta turística de Jalisco y de México, además que permite obtener apoyos para mejorar la infraestructura de los municipios participantes.

De acuerdo con Cervantes Díaz, esta inversión generó una derrama económica en Jalisco de alrededor de 400 millones de pesos, ya que cada película de mediano presupuesto genera de 10 a 15 millones de pesos y permite contratar temporalmente a 120 personas.

En el mismo tenor, la Jalisco Film Commission, organismo que coordina los esfuerzos de la industria cinematográfica y audiovisual del estado, dio a conocer que conformará un catálogo de actores que permita interactuar a productores audiovisuales con actores y actrices profesionales del estado para generar más empleos en el ámbito audiovisual.

Gala Vallarta 2013: evento que reposiciona a Puerto Vallarta y Riviera Nayarit frente al mundo // Con la presencia de 71 agencias mayoristas nacionales e internacionales, destacados representantes de la industria turística de Puerto Vallarta y Riviera Nayarit, así como autoridades de ambos destinos, el pasado 6 de febrero inició la 20ª edición del Gala Vallarta 2013.

El evento estuvo encabezado por Ramón Guerrero Martínez, Presidente Municipal de Puerto Vallarta, y por Magaly Fregoso, Presidenta del Sistema DIF, quienes dieron la bienvenida a los asistentes al encuentro turístico, enmarcado por el atractivo del nuevo muelle de Los Muertos y la alegría de la gente que habita el destino costero típico más mexicano.

La Gala Vallarta es un evento que reafirma la confianza que la entidad genera en las agencias mayoristas, ya que son importantes promotores de Puerto Vallarta y Riviera Nayarit en

México y al exterior. En esta ocasión participaron 84 hoteles de ambos destinos, que generaron más de 2 mil citas de negocios y brindaron la oportunidad de reforzar las relaciones comerciales entre las agencias mayoristas con estos importantes destinos turísticos del Pacifico Mexicano.
