We pride ourselves on working closely with Visit Wales in the promotion of tourism in Wales, through attending key travel trade fairs and exhibitions to promote Wales and our products, often as stand partners to Visit Wales. The company has also engaged in international sales missions in the United States with the Visit Wales North America Director of Marketing. We are also members of the European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) and of UKinbound, joining them at many events throughout the year. Running successful FAM trips for both Visit Britain and Visit Wales previously has allowed us to understand the needs of the tourism sector. Today you will explore the Snowdonia National Park which holds the highest mountain in England and Wales! This afternoon embark on the Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway and enjoy the village of Devil’s Bridge in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains and take a walk around the mythical waterfalls here which are said to be the last place the Devil visited in Wales. Wake up to enjoy the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Nearby is the award-winning Penderyn Whisky distillery - using natural spring water from the Beacons, here they produce single malt whisky as well as gin, vodka and delicious cream liqeuer. From here you could travel to the World Heritage site of Blaenafon to experience Blaenafon Big Pit’s underground tour. Nearby is the ‘Blaenafon Cheddar Company’- a family run company producing specialty Welsh cheeses, some are flavoured with Penderyn’s whisky, Reverend James ale and other local ingredients. Venture towards Snowdonia this morning - why not stop at Pant Du Vineyard, a family-run business set in an idyllic location? They produced their first bottle of wine in 2010 and have gone from strength to strength since. This evening you could arrange a home-hosted dinner prepared by a Welsh local in their family home, don’t forget to ask for the recipes!

Day 4: Snowdonia & Anglesey

Today travel to the beautiful Island of Anglesey, connected to the main body of Wales by two bridges - the coastline here has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Why not visit Halen Môn saltcote? A family company that began 17 years ago - now selling salt internationally. Or perhaps enjoy an afternoon tea at a French inspired chateau overlooking the Menai Strait? Overnight: Snowdonia

Day 5: Anglesey - Mid Wales

For a different view today, why not stop at the picturesque Italian village of Portmeirion? A beautifully colourful town with quaint cafés and delicious restaurants. This stunning National Park is full of myths and legends and today you can spend some time exploring it. Why not stop at Craig-y-Nos Castle for Afternoon Tea, thought to be the most haunted Castle in Wales. There are regular ghost tours hosted at this hotel also. Within the park you can also find Llyn y Fan Fach, thought to be home of The Lady of the Lake, made famous by the Arthurian Legend. North Wales

Today you will travel up to North Wales into the Snowdonia National park, another beautiful area shrouded in myth. Stop along the way at the quaint town of Bala for a walk along Llyn Tegid, the largest lake in Wales. Welsh folklore states that a drowned city exists below the surface, the old city of Bala, which was flooded with water as an act of vengeance against the cruel prince Tegid Foel. Some say you can still hear the calls for vengeance when you walk along the lake. Overnight: Snowdonia

You will have another day to explore North Wales. We recommend journeying to the island of Anglesey. Connected to the North Wales coast by two bridges, the island features long stretches of stunning coastline and the magical Llanddwyn Island just off the coast holds the ruins of Llanddwyn Chapel, the church of Welsh patron saint of love. Today travel down to mysterious Mid-Wales. Along the way, why not stop at the town of Beddgelert. In the Welsh language Beddgelert means ‘The Grave of Gelert’, referring to the dog of medieval Welsh Prince Llewelyn the Great. This is one of the great legends of Wales and the village is well worth a stop to explore. Overnight: Mid Wales

Travel over the Menai Strait to the island of Anglesey, where the long stretches of coastline are incomparable. Spend the morning enjoying Beaumaris Castle or visiting Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens. In 1996 work began on the restoration of the historic garden and grounds, the home of the Price family since 1804. They are now restored to their former glory. In the afternoon you can visit Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens where you’ll find fine spring gardens and Australasian arboretum. A woodland walk gives access to a marine path beside the Menai Strait. Overnight: Caernarfon

Day 5: Caernarfon - Aberystwyth

Journey down the coast of Wales through the stunning Snowdonia National Park. Why not stop at Plas Tan Y Bwlch on your way? A picturesque Victorian garden that is situated in the Vale of Ffestiniog. From here, if time allows, visit the unique coastal resort of Portmeirion. Based on a Mediterranean village and opened in 1926 with some of the gardens dating back to the mid-1800s. Contemporary life has been added to the garden since with extensive replanting and restructuring of the lakes. Overnight: Aberystwyth

Today spend the day exploring the county of Ceredigion. Why not take a steam train through the stunning Rheidol Valley up to the nearby Devil’s Bridge which is shrouded in myth and features amazing waterfalls, or travel to the Hafod Estate, which dates back to the late eighteenth century? This historic location offers spectacular views, as well as waterfalls and woodland walks. It is a haven for rare plants and wildlife. Overnight: Aberystwyth

Llanberis Lake Railway is also nearby, which takes you along the shore of Lake Padarn. The National Slate Museum is also worth a visit if you’re in the area, as it allows you to learn more about the industry and a way of life that has become a great part of the Welsh identity. Today you will depart North Wales, and while travelling through the Snowdonia National Park to the bustling university town of Aberystwyth. You and all members of your party are required to be adequately insured for the whole duration of your tour. Bear in mind that you will need to check that all planned activities are covered by the personal insurance of people travelling within the group. Also remember that most insurance policies should provide cover for unexpected events such as the need to make changes or cancel your booking. It is advised for all operators or agents to make sure that their customers have adequate travel insurance in place, and at time of booking. 11. Force Majeure Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the party shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations. 12. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England & Wales and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English & Welsh courts.
