CV dyestuffs were created for tinting top coats needed to uniform and lightly correct the hue of the panels; they are also used in spray paint to tint solid wood. CV are characterized by an excellent compatibility with ureic, nitro cellulosic and polyurethanic products and, above all, by their really high concentration.

TC500 are characterized by their high concentration. Thanks to their excellent transparency, brilliance and uniformity of tints they are suitable for wood roller painting and spray painting of frames, friezes and pieces of furniture which can be applied manually, with aerograph, or mechanically with spray machines. TC500 are indicated for over-coating with nitrocellulose, polyurethanes and ureic resins application and also for UV fillers and polyester application. They can be diluted with glycols, alcohols, water, acetone or acetates.

Roller application Usually TC500 are used together with a transparent vehicle; they can also be used pure, but they give tenuous shades and do not tint the pore. An addition of vehicle VL 05 (about 30%) increases the product's transfer on roller staining machine. It extremely important to treat raw wood with sandpaper: usually we recommend 150-180 grain sandpaper for lighter tints and 120-150 grain sandpaper for darker tints. The hardness of rubber roller should be 30-40 Shore. We strongly recommend slow thinners, such as DR 09 or DR 03, and absolutely advise against any other thinners Spray application For spray tint application we recommend a 1:1 pre-dilution with 1-Methoxy-2-Propanol. The dilution essentially depends on the handling and the required intensity. We recommend VL 02 as a vehicle. The manual application with aerograph or the mechanical application with rotary or oscillating spray machines requires a dilution from 1:15 to 1:20 with acetone to obtain a medium intensity. For linear spray machines we recommend a dilution equal to 1:10 with acetone. The drying times are around 10-15 minutes, at room-temperature, or 30-60'' using IR rays or warm hair at 4050°C..
