But there was a time they were famous around the world as boxing promoters through Tampa-based Alessi Promotions. Now, to the family’s surprise those earlier days are making a return thanks to one of Hollywood's most storied franchises. “Creed,” the latest chapter in the “Rocky” movie franchise, hit theaters Nov. 25.
