"Exile to Wonderland" - a Rosemary Fallon solo exhibition opens on April 4th at the White Lady Art Gallery. Rosemary Fallon is an artist, teacher, doll-maker, designer, animator and lecturer.
Her pop surrealist paintings were featured in the 2012 release of "Goblin Market: Irish New Contemporary Art", the first publication from White Lady Art Books, along with 34 other great Irish artists who are pushing the boundaries of New Contemporary Art. Her women are contemporary icons of modern femininity, captured in moments of intense emotion or revelation, sometimes in fantastic backdrops of surreal dreamscapes or familiar locations where the observer can recognize their own daily routine. Working mainly in oils, her work is vibrant and bold, and this exhibition of her current body of work will show the fruits of tireless dedication and persistence.
