STATEMENT I am a graduate of the Sheffield School of Architecture, holding a 2.1 degree. Additionally, I was nominated as the University of Sheffield’s entrant for the Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship 2012. My interests in Architecture include the possibility for buildings to effect societal change, and the implications of digital society. Notably, the effect on the internet on new typologies of buildings. This extended to my dissertation topic, which explored a new form of categorising the digital avant-garde architects (e.g. BIG and OMA). I also hold an interest in graphic design and illustration and occasionally undertake freelance commisions in my spare time. My work has included branding and logo design as well as data visualisation. This interest in visualisation has been explored in my analysis for architectural projects within my degree. In my spare time, I also enjoy film, literature, and music, particularly those of a speculative and progressive nature. I am especially currently interested in the work of China Mieville and Phillip K. Dick.
