terms and conditions R eservat i o n s The spa and facilities are available to guests over the age of 18.
Rooms are normally available from 3pm on arrival day, use of spa facilities can be enjoyed from this time. On your departure day, we ask that you check out of your room by 11am. For those guests staying on a leisure break, you may continue to use the spa facilities until this time. For those guests staying on one of our specific spa breaks, your use of spa facilities is extended until 3pm. We can store any luggage you might have while you continue to enjoy any further treatments.
A nonrefundable £100 per person deposit for spa breaks and a nonrefundable £100 deposit per room for all other bookings will be taken at time of booking. All major credit / debit cards are accepted, with the exception of Visa Electron. Cheques are accepted with a Bank Guarantee Card.
All prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated and based on double occupancy. A supplement of £50 per night will apply to single occupancy. Settlement of outstanding balance is on departure.
Cancellations within 7 days of your arrival date will be charged in full. We strongly advise all guests to consider travel insurance to cover the unfortunate cancellation of their stay. A more flexible amendment policy is available to cover any unforeseen circumstances by opting for our ‘flexi cover’. This will allow you to change the date of your booking up to 24 hours prior to arrival. This option is chargeable at the time of booking.
We are a no smoking establishment, any evidence to the contrary will result in possible legal action and a minimum cleaning charge of £100 being added immediately to room bills.
Treatment times can be allotted from 3pm on your day of arrival. We respectfully advise you that we do not give specific appointment times until your day of arrival. We do endeavour to arrange similar treatment times for friends.
We regret to advise we do not permit any pets.
NB: If you are or could be pregnant, please do not use the spa facilities without first consulting a member of the spa team.
Please inform us of any health related problems or if you are pregnant, to ensure treatments and spa use are not contraindicated. All treatments and products are used at guests own discretion and the spa can not take any responsibility for unknown allergies or reactions.
To ensure total tranquillity and relaxation, please consider other guests by refraining from using your mobile phone or camera and speaking quietly, so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet.

A £10 refundable deposit will be required for the use of robes. Please ensure you bring appropriate footwear for the spa and gymnasium areas.
A full prepayment is required for all treatments.
Actual treatment times are given to guests on the day of arrival. For group visits we do endeavour to arrange similar treatment times.
Cancelled appointments will be charged at full cost unless 24 hours notice is given. It might be wise to consider personal insurance to cover this eventuality.
As a courtesy to other guests and to ensure you enjoy your visit to the spa, please be prompt to your appointment. We respectfully ask all our guests to be seated in the relaxation lounge at least five minutes prior to appointment time. If you are late for your appointment, we can offer you a shortened service.
As a spa day or break visitor you are welcome to use all the gorgeous spa facilities including a fully equipped technogym and full timetable of fitness classes.
NB: We can not take any responsibility for loss, damage or injury to either yourself or your belongings whilst on the premises or grounds. Within the spa there are several wet areas. To reduce the risk of injury please take appropriate care. Spa slippers are available to buy. Utopia Spa takes no responsibility for injuries caused due to incorrect use of these areas. Please make sure you take the necessary personal precautions for yourself and your property. We strongly advise all guests consider insurance to cover such eventualities.
