Alexander Latsis

Alex Latsis is the managing partner of Brighteye Advisors, the leading EdTech VC in Europe. Having founded the company in 2017, after a successful career as an operator in the sector, Latsis performed the initial research on the EdTech funding ecosystem in the USA and EU, meeting with all the relevant players, among them Benoit Wirz with whom he set up the company. Alexander Spiro Latsis is also currently an Investment Committee member for Gestron Asset Management (2017-present) and the Owner of MINILAB Limited (2015-present) / BIGUMAKU Limited (2016-present). He is known for his ability to source and complete deals, help companies on their journey from first customers to mature business models, and connect to a rich network of funders and partners in media and tech. An entrepreneur at heart, Latsis understands how to successfully scale a business, and is also a willing mentor and advisor thanks to his experience founding and operating start-ups from the ground up.
