Real Club de Golf Campoamor Resort Villacosta, Costa Blanca Naturally beautiful, the course makes the most of the spectacular local flora and fauna
With a 6,277m round and par 72 the player enjoys a course whose lawns, neatly-manicured to the highest standards of quality, are only enhanced by the lush vegetation and fauna.
One of the most established Costa Blanca golf courses, originally opened nearly thirty years ago, Real Club de Golf Campoamor Resort is consistently popular with all handicaps and open every season all year round.
The course designers have made the most of the natural Spanish landscape, incorporating the undulating curves, copses, and natural features inherent to the locality into the course to make the fauna a part of the players game.
The course has been challenging experienced golfers since 1988 when it was inaugurated by HRH D. Juan de Borbon, Count of Barcelona, in whose honour a tournament which bears his name is held every year in August.
Dedicated golfing facilities include a private clubhouse, with an exclusive restaurant serving a First Class special menu prepared by resident Masterchef Epi Rubio. Beautiful vistas make the experience even more special.
The course emerges from the wild beauty of Dehesa de Campoamor between two valleys surrounded by small hills that protect it from the wind, and which generate a microclimate that enables practical play any time of year.

Lo Romero Golf & Country Club Pilar de la Horadada, Costa Blanca One of the youngest courses on the Costa Blanca but no less beautiful
The natural waterways, meandering paths, surrounding hills, flora and fauna all contribute to an ultimately beautiful course that’s popular all year round - in and out of season.
Officially opening in January 2008, this relative newcomer to the Costa Blanca golf circuit spent a full 2 years maturing before being declared ready for public play by it’s meticulous owners.
The La Taperia Lo Romero serves up a wide selection of breakfasts, lunches, tapas, snacks, and drinks, in a more casual atmosphere overlooking the spectacular vistas that surround the player.
The course was designed by Jorge Gallén who has created an excellent challenge by making the best of the terrain. The 11th hole is only 292 meters long but the fairway is very narrow and tree lined making navigation difficult.
And one feature you probably won’t find anywhere else on the Costa Blanca is the Buggy Bar; a custom fitted Pro Golf Cart that provides cold drinks and snacks to keep you fuelled on the fairway itself.
The signature hole at Lo Romero has to be the final 18th. Driven off from the top of the hill leaving a short iron into the island green. A challenge to master for novice and pro alike, but no less enjoyable for it.
With a well-stocked Pro Golf Shop on site and a location central to a number of other local golf courses, it’s easy to see why the Lo Romero golf course remains a popular choice with golfers in Spain.
