The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Project In celebration of the American Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg brands a museum was erected in Auburn, Indiana. In order to become more interactive and gain mass appeal, among school groups and younger visitors, a select group of stakeholders began development on a system. This system would empower visitors of the museum to gain the capability of personalizing their own vehicle and acquiring a sample of their design. Using Autodesk Alias Studio as a surfacing tool and Autodesk Showcase as a rendering software I created computer generated models, of the three American car brands, which would facilitate the creation of a station within the museum. The station would allow visitors to choose their vehicle, colour and various customized elements of which the visitor would then print out a personalized photo as a momentum of their visit.
The success of the project and the models that steadily evolved as I became more comfortable with the software enticed the possibility of creating personal models in my leisure which further accustomed me to the programs and possible strategies at becoming more effective and efficient in the modeling and rendering process.

PLAN 409 represents the final design offering at the School of Planning. The following illustrations depict two separate concepts formulated for an individual project progression which show a clear divergence in techniques, styling and massing abilities. O ERLO | ESTAB AT LIS W HE
The images to the right represent a site plan and massing model of a concept based on a tulip with six separate axis which connect to six distinct land marks within the site. The design incorporates an abundance of greenspace and view sheds which allow visual cues and pedestrian connections facilitating major circulation throughout the entire study area. These designs are supported by comprehensive shadow and wind studies using Autodesk Ecotect Analysis.

The images that follow represent the subsequent concept based on an urban wetland and connected sports complex. On the left are renders which have been illustratively constructed to resemble hand sketches. On the right are evolved massing models which include greater architectural detail and clay rendering effects. Beyond these simple depictions lies the four illustrative panels which established the foundation for a final presentation and open house held at City Hall in downtown Kitchener, Ontario.

Concepts were based on the notion of a conservation subdivision where major development would occur in the south on level terrain while larger lots and drainage features would be found in the north where higher slopes increase personal views and decreased the amount of possible development.

The introductory design studio at the School of Planning represented a course in small scale subdivision and sustainable architectural design. The bottom illustration shows a conservation plan which denotes areas of high, medium and low development based on slope, natural features and location. This preliminary concept resembled the foundation for the image above which is a rough plan of subdivision.

THE CONCEPT ENVISIONS A GREEN CORRIDOR, IMAGINED AS AN ARC TO INCORPOATE EXPLORATION AND SERIAL VISION. TO ATTAIN UNITY SEVEN DISTRICTS HAVE BEEN DESIGNED WITH THE PURPOSE OF REINFORCING ASPECTS OF AN INDIVIDUAL’S LIFE. THESE DISTRICTS ARE PLACED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE ON THE ARC AND CAPATLIZE ON THE OPPURTUNITiES OF THE SITE. The development incorporated industrial architecture with modern styling and a greenspace pattern which connects a major riverside park to an existing conservation area.
CATEGORIES
ROOT: The existing CBD functioned as the anchor of the development. SACRAL: A sensory garden provided an interactive and engaging entrance. STOMACH: An adapted farmersâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; market was the center of produce. HEART: A health and fitness district was the literal and theoretical heart. THROAT: A residential area and pavilion function as the voice of the people. THIRD EYE: Studio space and a music school represent intellect and culture. CROWN: A retail development along the growth corridor is the final stage.

University of Waterloo Sustainability Project (UWSP): While working as Marketing and Media Director for UWSP I devised and developed a heavily targeted marketing campaign which was intended to broaden the reception of the organization as well as present a more sophisticated and professional demeanor.
