Tesco is continually trying to give people the opportunity they need to build a career and also support the communities we work in. Always collaborating with the local councils ad JobCentre Plus, Tesco has just launched it’s 48th Regeneration Partnership store in Lewisham, London. The store has provided 235 jobs, 77 of which went to local unemployed people.
The Regeneration Partnership programme has been going on since 2000 and it has helped thousands of people in the community. The current plan is to create 20,000 jobs during 2012-2013and 8,000 new employees have joined us since March 2012.
