project one The Warren As a senior capstone project for my BFA in Fashion Communication I created The Warren, a vegan and cruelty-free lifestyle website. This project was inspired with my own experiences from when I first decided to make the transition to becoming vegan and by my overall passion for animals. The Warren was designed to be a beautiful, accessible alternative to the aggression that sites I looked to for vegan guidance were showing. This site includes written articles covering a variety of cruelty-free topics, original photography, digital illustrations, and a line of promotional merchandise.

project two Diagnosed: Endometriosis I created “Diagnosed: Endometriosis” as a final project for Stephens College’s Information and Promotion Design class. In this project, I created a booklet designed for doctors to give to patients as they are diagnosed with the condition endometriosis. The booklet is designed to be easy to digest, not intimidating, and full of tips and tricks to help patients with the new diagnosis. I wanted to make a product that would be able to rectify the fear and pain that come with a diagnosis of new disease. This project allows for brand extension into other diseases and disorders besides endometriosis as well.

project three the collections As part of Stephens College Fashion Show Production course, I was assigned to be the lead designer of the visual promotion for the annual fashion show. I designed the main poster and other collateral designs such as press passes, social media ads, a Snapchat filter, postcard invitations, and the show’s overall logo and brand. Materials for this project were distributed throughout the city of Columbia and shown nationally across Stephens College media platforms.

stephens life magazine creative director From August 2016 to May 2018, I served as a managing editor of Stephens Life Magazine, the campus magazine at Stephens College. When I joined staff of Stephens Life Magazine, the publication was in the midst of a rebranding and was working to reestablish themselves as a new, relevant, and creative publication . I collaborated with peers and professionals in the community to establish a prestige that goes along with the name “Stephens Life. In my first semester acting as creative director, magazine went from a small, class project to receiving its first national award in school history, the ACP Magazine Pacemaker Award. During my time on staff I have developed an eye for composition, stylization, and making a vision come to life. Through this, I’ve fed a love for the creative process and gained a better understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to prepare projects for real-world publication.
