Peace and love capsule collection is a collaboration between the grafitti artist Banksy and the Californian brand Stüssy.

Stüssy has always been involved in the grafitti, hip-hop and skateboard movement supporting iconic persons of each movement.

The main objective of the collaboration between Banksy and Stüssy is to make people concern about the problems of the world, which Banksy denounces by drawing them in different cities.

Stussy is an American brand established in Laguna Beach, California in the early 80’s.

Shawn Stüssy, the founder, began to sell t-shirts, shorts and caps with his surname tag.

In 1988, Stüssy opened the first store located in the New York’s SoHo. Nowadays, they have stores all around the world, in Los Angeles, Paris, London or Tokyo.

Peace and Love collection will be a capsule collection that will feature caps, hoodies, jerseys and t-shirts.

The purpose of the collection is to partner with the most famous graffiti artist in the world so that his protests can be seen and worn by people from all around the world without having to go to the place where the graffiti actually is.

The collection will consist on different graffitis made by Bansky placed on Stüssy garments.

The main target of the capsule collection is the same target of the brand, young people from 16 to 25 years old and men in its majority.

The collection will be sold in the official Stüssy stores and the online Stüssy site.

The location of the shooting for the capsule collection will take place in Los Angeles, California as the brand was established in California.

When talking about Los Angeles, I’ve selected two places where the shooting will take place, the first location is Venice Beach as it has graffitis, it’s a sunny place and very famouse. The second location is a rooftop in L.A. as it is a nice place to make a shooting and it makes sense to present the Peace and Love collection with pictures done in the city of Los Angeles.

As StĂźssy has worked with afro-american models in its majority, it would be convenient to use young afro-american models with some tattoos to give a rebelious feeling to the shooting.

The main objective of the shooting is to make the consumers of the brand notice that this is not a normal capsule collection, as it is the first time ever that Bansky collaborates with a clothes brand in order to make people more active in the Street Art sector, as it is an unexplored area for most of the people.

The models will be between 21 and 27 years old.

Vicky Grout is a nineteen years old London based photographer that has already shot for Billionare Girls Club and is considered the grime photographer of London as she goes around the city doing photographies of the grimeññ movement as it is seen in the pictures on the previous page.

I have choosen this photographer because in my opinion, it will be an important photographer in the following years when talking about Streetstyle as she is only nineteen years old. However, despite being very young, she has already worked with some fashion brands and has shown that she dominates the camera very well. It will give a rebelious feeling to the shooting as she works mainly with people from the suburbs of London which gives a “hood” look, just what the collection needs.

The editorial of the Peace & Love capsule collection will take place in Venice Beach, Los Angeles. The location has been chosen as the brand is from California and in Venice Beach there are plenty of graffitis, a key decoration for the collection. The shooting would take place in September as we need to have a hot and sunny day in order to give the editorial a nice and stylish image.

The main objective of the minisite is to give details about the capsule collection and give a little preview of some articles.

The main page contains a description of the collection plus the release date of it. Scrolling down there are three garments with an explanation and a picture of them.

Below the pictures and the explanation of the garments, we find a short video of a StĂźssy lookbook in a very simple and fast way, the lookbook of the capsule collection would look very similar but in front of a StĂźssy store or in Venice Beach.

The Related To part is a little explanation about the history of the graffiter, Banksy. The Peace and Love collaboration has a special meaning as it is the first time ever for Banksy to collaborate with a clothing brand.

The past and present of the graffiter is very unknown and has lots to discover. In a way, this collaboration expresses the feelings of the graffiter in some exclusive works he has done for StĂźssy.

One of the main things of the minisite, is the possibility we offer to our consumers to contact directly with StĂźssy workers, so that they can give their opinion or ask for any questions they can have.

We offer a response in less than 12 hours as we want to be the closer as possible to our consumers to make us be able to be close to our consumers and open to their opinions.

As the release of the collection gets closer, the web page will have more activity posting more items and different activities with prizes.
