As tradition dictates, the first home Test match of the year is played at Lord’s as England face New Zealand in the first of two Test fixtures. Next are three ODI’s against New Zealand starting again at Lord’s and then at The Ageas Bowl and Trent Bridge For the first time since 2004, the ICC Champions Trophy will be staged in England. The world’s top 8 ODI teams will face each other in this high-intensity competition during June. The Nation’s favourite cricket tournament, the Ashes returns to British shores once again in 2013. The Australians will be looking to win the Ashes for the first time since the 2006-07 series as well as regaining their pride after a stunning English victory on Australian soil for the 2010-11 series. As well as the 5-Test Ashes series, Australia will also play a 5-ODI series against England in September.
